Engineering General

This section largely comprises my curriculum vitae, but shall be progressively updated with further details to demonstrate that engineering skills and knowledge gained in the various fields are readily applicable to both site and design office based engineering management and direction. It is as important for construction managers and their engineers to have a good knowledge of the design principles they are implementing, or changing, as it is for a design counterparts to understand the potential difficulties in constructing their proposed detail.

There are already extensive free resources for engineering software available on the internet. These are often not validated and from dubious sources. I shall initially adding to this with some spreadsheet and basic software that I have developed in the past and found useful for quick comparative analysis and designs.
